Gather round and allow a tale to be spun.
The internet killed the novelist. The blog is his epitaph.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Add words, it is tenfold.
I wrote my first short story when I was 13 years old. It was entitled, The Savage Hunt for the Easter Bunny. It was a farce about a boy who wished to capture the Easter Bunny through the use of trip wires tied to mines, bear traps, and a tranquilizer sniper rifle. Once captured, the plan was to interrogate the furry critter, and find out the truth about his schemes.
A rancorous tale, I submitted it as an assignment for a composition in school. I will never forget my teacher's commentary, with a solid B as the grade: 'this is a pretty bizarre story'. I was not deterred. I wrote more and more, concocting tales from my wildest dreams.
Dungeons & Dragons in the early 80s became my outlet. As the Dungeon Master, the worlds I wove became my own escape. This is why I prefer fantasy, and always will. I hope you enjoy my tales and musings.
I am currently compiling the many stories, tales and scripts I have written over the years into a more modern format. A lifetime of tales to be shared. Enjoy.
